We're sitting in our Beijing hotel room at last. Too tired to go to the acrobat show after years of thinking about it. Oops, 2 1/2 days of traveling trying to get half-way around the world is catching up with us.. It was kinda hairy getting out of London because England is frozen over, Gatwick was closed, and European flights were being cancelled! They were letting other international flights out so we left London a few hours late. When we got to the hotel we were only gonna have 1 1/2 hours for all 3 of us to clean up and be ready to go to a show. Since we've missed two nights of sleep we decided it's prob best to stay in and have a quiet evening then be ready to go to early tomorrow, sounds like we are still going to do the great wall tomorrow, then another flight on Sunday for Chloe day!
Mom and I are fascinated watching the traffic and people go by from our hotel window, meanwhile Karen has already organized the room, our snacks and anything else she can find to line up neatly!

glad to hear you guys are there safely. ahhh, don't worry about the acrobat show, getting rest is more important for what you have ahead of you. :) besides we can get you the show DVD if need be. haha cant wait to see the pictures! Love, Steve and Kelly
